Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are prohibited or restricted on the Luna Tech platform. It supplements your merchant agreement and our Terms of Service.
Template notice. This document is a working template prepared in advance of authorisation. LUNA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED will publish the final, legally reviewed version prior to offering services. Please consult qualified Tanzanian counsel before relying on it.
1. Prohibited activities
- Any activity that is unlawful in Tanzania or in the customer’s jurisdiction.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion.
- Sale of illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods or stolen property.
- Unlicensed financial services, unregistered securities, pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
- Child sexual abuse material or any non-consensual intimate content.
- Activities that infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Any activity that compromises the security or integrity of our systems.
2. Restricted activities
Some activities (e.g. gambling, adult content, cryptocurrency services, high-risk travel) are restricted and require prior written approval. We may apply additional underwriting, monitoring or settlement controls.
3. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse transactions, and report to authorities where we have reasonable grounds to believe this Policy has been breached.
